Aeneas

Aeneas was the son of Anchises and Aphrodite. He owed his life to the interventio of gods during the Trojan War. He became one of the most respected heroes of the Trojan War. He left the city after the war. Aeneas carried his father and the household of gods. Aeneas allied himself with King Latinus in Italy. He then married Lavinia, which was Latinus' daughter.
